Who we are

At Guiding Architects Barcelona, our team of specialized local architects brings Barcelona’s architectural and urban heritage to life, connecting its past, present, and future. Founded in 1994 by Professor Hans Geilinger, co-founder of the international Guiding Architects network, the company is now led by Lorenzo Kárász, architect and architecture communicator.

Our collaborators combine expertise in architecture, urban planning, sustainability, and design with insights from art and teaching, offering experiences that explore Barcelona’s historic and contemporary architecture, its unique urban legacy, and strategies for sustainable, climate-adaptive cities.
